The first interactive conference designed to ignite the entrepreneurial spark in Mexicans living in the U.S. and in Mexico, Expo Mexico Emprende (which in English would be something like “Mexico Embarks Expo”) will take place in Los Angeles this August 19-21. The free Expo “aims to create jobs, combat poverty and improve the quality of life for families in the U.S. and Mexico.”

Potential entrepreneurs will discover that Mexico and 16 participating states are offering a wide range of resources and assistance, as well as access to the who’s who in Mexico entrepreneurship.

Workshop topics will include: how to navigate the current economic climate, movie business franchising, exploring the cosmos and the aerospace industry, innovation as a key business strategy, financing, marketing, starting or growing high tech businesses, green businesses, franchising with over 500 Mexican and American companies participating, and the basics on how to start a business.
