Secretary Ferrari Travels to Ottawa, Canada for Business Forum

Bruno Ferrari, Mexico’s Secretaría de Economía, visited Ottawa, Canada last weekend to discuss how trade between the two countries can generate opportunities for greater prosperity in Canada and Mexico.

On opening day at Business2Business Forum: Global Business Opportunities and Innovation Strategies (organized by the Embassy of Mexico in Canada, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters and the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade), Secretary Ferrari delivered an inaugural keynote address in front of a group of more than 400 Canadian and Mexican business leaders.

The Honorable Edward Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, said at the forum, “Deepening trade, which represents about 60 percent of our economy, with key countries like Mexico, is vital to our economic recovery and future prosperity.”
